Does anyone think its possible to power your own home with something like a windmill. i am thinking out in the country, on a hill side somewhere, would it be feasible to build a smallish windmill and have it power your home? what do people think........i am for some reason seriously considering it. :(

there are houses wooden, that use solar energy, also can use wind energy... depends where it'll be located... it's a cool idea, economic and ecologic. :thumbsup:

 

but you'll need buy the place, build the house and also buy the solar and wind machines. :/ but then you'll have your own energy and also you'll can sell the energy you won't use to other houses, so can have a company then. ;)

Yes, and it would be great for the enviroment too.

 

But you would need a large windmill to make it worth anything, and those would cost you, and it would be years before you get your return.

If you build a windmill you even have enough power to sell it.
