Hi everyone.

Last night at the media gig in Cologne, Germany, it featured Guy singing backing vocals on ‘Speed Of Sound’ and all the band singing on ‘Fix You’, I thought I'd share that as I think that's a first! Will played piano and harmonica!

Damn you're fast.

wow! thats cool :) i think theyve all learned new stuff coz on the KCRW show Chris said that during their break Jonny had also learned how to play piano....i think that could make the live performances quite different, add a new dimension to everything- bring on crystal palace!

Yes I heard in an interview about how they are going to try to draw some of the attention away from Chris. That way the media hopefully will stop talking about them as Chris Martin & Band.

hmmmm maybe that will work... totally see why they want to do that, but the press love chris, he makes good copy for them u know...i think they all deserve the same credit for what they do, but the press (esp in the UK) wont see it that way i dont think!

it all makes me curious to hear the vocals on the tracks now though!

Cool, where did you find it Owen? On the official message board?

that's great! I can't wait to see them *crosses fingers*. BTW, I do think this is gonna be great for the band... hope it brings the results they look for :D

OMG!! Guys sings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya on the official messageboard, so can anyone say we need 3 of them all on the piano at once playing chopsticks, with Guy singing something nice along with it?

*Locks his bedroom door*

*Gets a gun out of his drawer*

*Points it at his door*

its not like he will do a solo or anything, just backing vocals but still its great news......im more interested in Will playing Harmonica, i thought that was jonny's bit? I mean it must be on a song where there are no drums, or little drums......because he cant play piano or harmonica while drumming???? :stunned:

Apparently he can and not only that, but I heard it sounded pretty good as well! I hope this sort of thing will be done more often. I would love to hear Guy sing.

Will is a master in instruments!....he is "the musician" in Coldplay!...is not weird to see him playing harmonica or piano...or whatever!!

:)

oh i know he is great and can play so many things, but not all at the same time. :P

 ....of course... :P

If Coldplay ever split up, he can always start a one-man-band

  no way!...that was hilarious!... :D
