My friend showed me the cover and said it was in code, and showed me the page with the alphabet inside.

 

Hmm. Columns of color blocks, each one with a character on top. Could it be a KEY? Didn't take much effort to recognize that the cover had the same columns, just without spaces between em. I'm not bragging, but it took about, oh, maybe 3 minutes to tell my friend what the cover and the inner page said.

 

I didn't "crack the code." There was a key.

^yeah but this was figured out months ago before anyone knew what was inside the booklet :P

 

and its actually really complicated (not the artwork, the actual code), like the whole number thing and the baudot code...
