I Figured out the Artwork!

Featured Replies

That first one may be the date Coldplay will release their ehm... 21st album (Tuesday 22nd September 2055). And the second may be the title? :idea2:

Seriously, I don't think there is a hidden code between those dashes...

i do. that is not a mistake. that section could have easily been transparent. the web designer was told to do that! its foolish not to...unless for a reason.

But, the letters doesn't make any sense, do they? I dunno really, maybe there's something...

Another quick test to see for yourself if you are running Firefox. Simply right-click the front image and select 'View Image', and you will see it. It is definately not suposed to be there...

from what i decoded, it's rubbish so far. possibly an acronym for something! i don't know...i'm pondering over this one now.

This wasnt on the website before...! Maybe its because the fans figured out the normal code so soon... :P

We need wayne! :D Did anyone check any other 5 bit codes, horizontal maybe... This is definitely something!

okay... i've decoded it as much as i could... this is what i got... sorry for the sloppiness!

Whoa. That's kinda wierd... and cool. I hope it means something.

How'd you come across that anyways?

Well, I was just scimming the coldplay.com message boards when I saw the thread talking about the artwork. It pointed to here, so I wanted to see if I could figure it out myself. I saved a couple artwork pics, then as I was opening them back up it just stood out like a sore thumb. I do some web design myself, and just knew that couldn't be right.

yeah... i do too. there is no reason why they couldnt make that transparent if they had to. and besides, it fits the 10 row setup of the code!

maybe Apple was just playing around with the keyboard on the art design computer!!! :idea2:

haha, this is going too far. I'm a pretty big Coldplay fan and all, but the whole Apple obsession baffles me.

i don't know if you saw these in my other posts... but these are from the Coachella concert...
