I haven't heard any of the songs in the list, but from what I've heard, What If? is supposed to be an amazing song.

Maybe Low or something as a third single? :wink3:

I think it'd be too soon for a song like What If. I'm thinking either Talk, A Message, (maybe White Shadows) or something we haven't heard yet. lol, I guess that just about covers it lol :lol:

Well this is all speculation because we havent heard anything studio yet, except the first single. However, I read somewhere back that they already decided the second single before the first one. Therefore, since they are so proud of it I think WHAT IF. But in my own personal opinion I want it to be White Shadows. However, all of the album reviews that have been done tout Fix You as the standout track that would make an amazing single, so I have a good bet on that one too! By the way, has a hidden track (such as Til Kingdom Come) ever been a single. I mean it wouldnt make much sense since buyers would not even see the hit on the album, but I'm just curious if any band has ever done that?

i dunno what the second single is gonna be and actually don't feel like guessing till i hear all the songs on the album, but i think i have a theory on as to the background colors for them might be chosen.

 

well you remember how chris said the bands he's been wearing around his fingers relates to the new album, and well how we've been stumped as to how they correlate since breaking the code we found out colors don't mean squat. well i think the bands on his fingers are representing the future background colors for the singles. cause well if you look at the pictures of the NME interview thats posted the bands shown are the red color same as to what we now now is the speed of sound background- conscience? i dunno. then the next is a kinda light blue, and then a yellow. i don't know but i was thinking it from after seeing old pics of the kcrw show when the only bands were the darker blue and then red, and then the album cover showed up being dark blue, and SoS cover showed up being red. and since chris did say they were related to the album and since when the code was broken the colors didn't necessarily matter i thought maybe it was just a way to tie the two. but hey i'm prolly wrong.

I have voted A Message... but I hope it isn't released as a single - it deserves that 'listen to it if you have the album' status. Such a beautiful song... :cry: :)

I really enjoy TALK quite a bit, I dont think that it will make it as a single but it should because its just super duper great.

Based on all the hype around it now.. and the fact they are closing the shows with it... maybe it'll be Fix You

I think 'A Message' has a fair shot as well, because it's Chris' favourite.

I thought I read somewhere that Fix You was the second single. I'm not sure if it is but on SNL they played after SOS and the play it at the end of sets making it a likely single.

Fix you is indeed likely to become there second single :)

i think now it will be fix you........and a message is a great song but like green eyes i think chris would want to keep it just on the album if you know what i mean

I already have read 2 times that FIx you will be the 2nd single..............and I even read it on a site with a article about coldplay.............got a link of coldplay.com forum ...........Things I dont understand is really good btw
