Right now I'm debating on how I should border my photos. What do you prefer? Black? Translucent? No border?

The white/orange flower pic makes me wanna cry :'( wow i love them. I was into trying out photography for a while but mine sucked so yeah i gave up on that.

 

Err i am not sure about putting borders on them esp the flower ones though..i think its just too much.

Yes really. I am not just feeding you bs..although i may be ;) .Nah i love the close up on one of the flowers..i commented with my old account :p.

I love the one with the railway. It reminds me of one of Munch's paints; a man looking down a bridge and just looking as If life was passing in front in him and he was not within it's borders.

(it is not that I am a bad photopgrapher then; it's just my camera it's not good enough :P)

 

and before I forget; you shouldn't actually thanks me... it should be the other way around! :)

well to be honest, most of those pictures I worked on for at least 30 minutes each in Photoshop to bring out the colours.

I always tell that about myself, but deeply inside, very deep, I don't agree with what I say. I'm sure it's the same with the photographs, and I guess there's no need to explain you the reason of my thinking :D

Wow, you can sell stuff on that site? That's pretty cool. It's taking kind of long to look through the photos, but from what I've seen, they're really good. Very crisp and clear.

yeah. they're actually implementing a basic printing service for non-subscribers soon. (max size of 8x10 though)

 

and yeah, the site is slow unless you subscribe. it sucks like that :(

What do you have right now? The flower photos were taken with a Sony V1, which is now only $350-$450 CDN

Eh mine is actually more expensive than yours :stunned: .Its a sony something..i am not sure. I havent even learned to use it that much :dozey:

Well I recently splurged on a Nikon DLSR. that plus extra lenses have been a few bucks....hehe :cool:

Urg i am having regrets now though. I was so into photography a few months back..i realized i sucked so yeah i wasted all that money :angry:.

 

 

At least you are good at what you do,so its not a waste on your part.

what model do you have? if its not too old you can always sell it on ebay
