omg my sis just got me an oasis cd cuz she knows how much i luv coldplay and she thought they sounded like cp it is soo good it isnt the new one....it is (whats the story) morning glory? 1995 one but it is soo good and a song on there called "wanderwall" i have heard on the radio here.very cool.....i will soon start racking up on oasis c.d's especially after i just heard their new single songbird! oasis is really good

yes good idea!! the best rock n roll album is deffinatly mayby, this is classed as the best. be her now and standing on the shoulders of giants are considered not so good but i think that all there stuff is amazing, where u from by the way

That cd is just great!!!!! but I agree with mburn: the best for me is 'definitely maybe'. If you liked morning glory, listen to definitely as well...

i will......i like coldplay better than oasis tho....i just need to get used to oasis....they are really good.....and noel's voice is so sexy

I have "What's the story.... " since it originally came out. I recently bought their very first album "defenitly maybe" because of the song rock star and I've got to say that I defenitely like "What's the Story... " 110% more :)

Definitely Maybe is along with The Stone Roses the best debut album of all time! It changed British music as did The Stone Roses.

 

I think (Whats The Story) ... is probably their third best album after DM and Be Here Now. To be honest i don't think Coldplay and Oasis sound alike, but then i don't think Oasis sound like The Beatles!

 

BTW Amanda i'm the forums resident Oasis head case, you ever want to know anything about them just ask.

i really like What's the story...it is a great cd...oasis is awesome :) i havent really listened to definately maybe...but i do love Supersonic...which i believe is in this cd...i should prob...find a copy of DM...dont ya think? :D

'Don't look back in anger' is the name of that song...

It's a crime! at the beginning it sounds like Imagine and in the end it sounds like 'All the young dudes' by Bowie, Noel himself said it on an interview...

But it's one of Oasis best songs, and for me, one of the best song EVER made.

haha yea i dont like every song....its a skip around cd to me but w/ coldplay ucan listen all the way throughso i prefer coldplay to oasis

haha....im remeber when i first turned 13 i was so proud to get rid of the god so young sound 12 just the way it sounds! yuk. and oh to finally buy an adult ticket at the movies hehe
