i got reaaaaaally cold. i didn't have a sweater and the wind picked up but yeah, then around 8 we could feel drops and all that.

 

ok so i was FRONT AND CENTRE for the concert. wow. right in front of chris, had a VERY decent view of everyone. it was amazing. i can't wait to see my pictures, i'll put them up whenever i can!

i really liked the new songs, a few i haven't heard before. the opening was amazing, jonny was going all out and wow...hehe. there was one song i wasn't sure of the name, i thought it was fix you, but that was a different song that the performed later.

 

one of the best parts was during clocks. chris did a complete 360 in his seat while still singing. i hope my picture of him halfway around turns out good :D but i don't know because of all the lights. so they all looked fantastic if i do say so myself :wink3: oh, I GOT A PICK! i waited and yelled at the people on stage to get them off chris' piano and FINALLY they did. and i bought a poster, the shirts were $40 canadian and i didn't have that much. the poster's nice, it's all black and white except for the writing in green and the bands on chris' fingers are in colour so i really love it.

 

and AHH! they did warning sign! soooo amazing! :D

 

it WAS cold outside. i only waited since a quarter to six. i don't know how you could stand waiting around all day. i'm sure meeting some of the band helped! ha.

 

i think clocks was one of the best songs of the night. the bit at the end where they sped it up. BRILLIANT. i just loved that. i'm looking forward to hearing that one again during the broadcast on muchmusic.

 

i bet i was right by you at some points in the night. i was four people away from the front. a lot of msgboard kids were there. i met sarah*** briefly. she's a real foxxx in person.

 

warning sign, my friend and i freaked when they started strumming that. that's my favourite song by them.

As for entertainment, how was that crazy guy drawing on the road in chalk.

 

Also, some creepy guy who was stalking the band in toronto told me that Jonny did not stay in a hotel. He got chris and will's autograph outside their hotels and saw guy go into one. But through all his crazy stalker knowledge he said he thinks Jonny has a girlfriend here in Toronto that he stayed with. Thats why the 3 day stay. Just a crazy guy though.

 

The show was awesome, trust me the new songs rock, Fix You is beautiul made me cry. And how about the intro music skipping?

i haven't listened to anything other then 'rebellion' so i don't know much about arcade fire, but it seems like their the vogue band for other bands to give a shout out too.

you bet i missed all three of them. i know they are a big deal and have a big fanbase. i just don't know any of their other songs. i downloaded two and didn't like them. they both had a girl singing.

we had gone to loblaws to warm up and came back at 7 when the whole line had moved. and i was so sad because it had our pictures of the band when we met them on there! so we looked through garbage bags and this guy was tying this last one up and we were like "can we look through that? please?" so we looked AND MINDY FOUND IT! hehe in the grande cheese bag at the bottom.

thank god we didn't have a loblaws bag :lol: it would have been so much harder to find....impossible probably.
