how much were the scalpers selling for??

Featured Replies

Hey,

Just out of curiosity, how much were the scalpers selling tickets for last night? I think the average from wht I heard was around $600/pair.

my friend was trying to buy one ticket and the lowest she was offered was 800 dollars.

Yah, but also very profitable.

Actually, I don't know if it is illegal in Toronto.

Oh. Well if it is illegal I would've told the scalper to lower the price or i'll report him...lol :happy2:

I go to a good amount of concerts in Toronto and there hasn't been one show that I hadn't seen scalpers at. Like I said in another thread, it's always the same guys scalping too.

However, when I went to see a show in Niagara Falls (Us Side) there were no scalpers there. It was in the middle of nowhere though.

What is scalpers? Hehehehe sorry for being "behind the times" :embarrased:

scalper - someone who engages in the reselling of something, such as tickets, at a price higher than the established value.

one time i got offered $1000 US for my pair of tickets. everyone thinks i'm crazy now

but we got like, harrassed by them. never once walked by without getting asked AT LEAST 3 times.

and we heard this a couple times:

double the trouble? or double the fun/pleasure? :o

I think I would of taken the $1000 US if I had tickets, that's a lot of money. Was he offering cash?

don't know actually. the guy scared me. i didn't trust him.
