ok, so do you know how to set the ISO?

 

also, shoot in PROGRAM MODE (P, I think), and either somewhere there, or under custom settings, change your metering to SPOT, and your AUTOFOCUS to SPOT.

Now this will only work if the guy's head is in the middle of the frame. if its not, your picture will be blurry and too dark/light.

Of course thats pretty standard for SLR's these days. There are 12.8 and 16MP camera bodies out there... :cheesy:

7 is the max right now for pocket point and shoots. And after you go past 5MP the quality really doesn't get any better unless you're making huge (20x30in) prints.

 

After 5 its all about the lens :cool:
