I heard Thom Yorke has a big poster of Chris Martin above his bed.

I heard that one time, in history class, Thom Yorke passed Chris Martin a note that said, "Do you like me?" It had 3 boxes underneath the question, one marked 'Yes', one marked 'No', and one marked 'Maybe.' Chris, in typical, indecisive fashion, checked 'Maybe' and Thom was offended. I wasn't. I never for a second thought anyone would believe it. I was just playing off that old grade-school stereotype.

 

The two couldn'thave gone to grade school together, anyway - they're 10 years apart in age. :)

Thom is greater than Chris? In what aspect?... I think Chris is much greater popularity wise, especially since he married Gwyneth and had a child. He's also better than Thom because he's all for making trade fair and promotes Oxfam!

 

I don't know much about Thom, but it seem like he has this bigheaded-ness (I love inventing words) of when too many people praise you. It sucks that he doesn't even acknowledge Chris despite him saying how much he looks up to him.

In terms of musicality (how's that for invented words? :P), I think Thom is a far more proven musician than Chris currently. As overall people go, I don't think I could pick one over the other

Well, since they are the lead singers of two of the biggest bands this day in age, I am not surprised that they fight a little.

When they were staying at an LA hotel when they both had gigs (Radioheads HTTT tour and Coldplays AROBTTH) and obviously both felt it necessary to be in the most luxurious hotel, Chris reportedly tried to talk to Thom Yorke as they passed in the corridoors but Thom just ignored him... :/

"You won't catch me making any malicious comments on Chris Martin."

"I heard people singing like me and it just made me feel quite...depressed."

 

Chris on Thom:

You should watch the speech of radiohead at 2002 Q Awards. you can see chris in a state of euphoria.

I'm not sure if this is true, but I heard Thom is very cold and unfriendly man. Of coarse I read this online and have never met the guy, so I have no clue if that is true....

A couple of people I talked to over at atease told me how they met him after some gig and he was really nice.

Glad to here that. I was kind of bummed out when I read he wasn't very nice, but I guess I can trust Jonny Greenwood. I think Thom is definetally in his own world though. Maybe that's why people think he's being cold?
