  1. Have any other songs besides Runaways been released from Battle Born yet? We're talking studio tracks, not live recordings and such. After Mylo Xyloto I'd like to avoid listening to live versions before the album release...
  2. A million times YES. This is one of the reasons I love hip-hop so much. The rivalries, the competition. 50 Cent found out Kanye West was releasing an album on the same date as him back in 2007 and directly challenged him - if your album sells more than mine, I quit rapping. Obviously Kanye sold more than double 50's album and 50 carried on rapping but that's besides the point. Also, Nas vs Jay-Z was perhaps the best beef since Tupac vs Biggie. My point is that competition and rivalry makes personality. I don't think Muse and Coldplay should become 'rivals' in the music industry, but what I am saying is no rock musicians have balls anymore.
  3. Maybe it's the only Muse song he's heard
  4. What do you dislike about Madness, if I might ask? It seems like Muse's Paradise. That song got a bit of hate from fans but I loved it.
  5. There are some aspects of The Resistance and Mylo Xyloto which I thought were really bad, but that's more to do with the actual songwriting/production than the direction they were headed in. I liked the electronic stuff on MX and the symphonic stuff on Resistance. I also really like the electronic direction Muse are going in on T2L so far. In fact I feel like Survival will ruin T2L because of the fact that the rest of the album doesn't continue the symphonic rock of The Resistance, yet that song does. It has no place on T2L from what we've heard/read of it so far in the songs we've heard and reviews/track descriptions.
  6. R.I.P. He was an extremely talented director, made some great action flicks.
  7. I don't know anything about it other than it'll be out in summer 2013 atm
  8. In the words of Jay-Z: "*****s want my old shit, buy my old album" (apologies if the n-word or s-word are forbidden here, I'm just quoting what I see as a great quote) I love Madness. I love the new Muse AND Coldplay sound. If you don't like it, Showbiz and Parachutes still exist. Go listen to them.
  9. "Having been their opening act 13 years ago I'm proud to say that I think this is Muse's best song ever. CM" Anyone else see that Facebook post from Coldplay with the Madness link?
  10. September is gonna be a busy month lol 2013 has a lot of albums I'm looking forward to already. Green Day, Kanye West, Eminem, Black Sabbath, Tool, U2, Foo Fighters, Drake, Arcade Fire, Lady Gaga... So many. Haha.
  11. I heard somewhere they were actually writing two albums. One with songs more similar to Paradise/Hurts Like Heaven, the other featuring stuff like Us Against the World/U.F.O., obviously they ended up mashing those two concepts into Mylo Xyloto. Personally, if the quieter stuff from Mylo Xyloto is any indication, I'd rather they stay away from some Parachutes-esque music on the next album. It would be interesting for them to try and make an album where each song is entirely different. They almost did that on Viva la Vida, but it felt like there was a common theme or sound with each song. I'd like to see them try something really eclectic.

  13. Well I downloaded it from the .mu store rather than the iTunes store. I just really want Muse to get another hit single. I like to see bands I enjoy getting a lot of exposure and radio airplay.
  14. And supporting the musicians would be helping this single top the charts. If it won't go towards that, I'm gonna buy the album anyway, like I have all their other albums, so I'm gonna be getting the song and giving them my money regardless. Bear in mind the fact I'll own this song in a few weeks due to owning the album. That's why I won't bother buying a single unless it'll help the song chart well. EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm seeing them live on the tour too. So again, I'm supporting them. I just wanna see this chart well.
  15. An acoustic album would be interesting. It'd be interesting to see how they do the Parachutes sound after being the biggest band in the world for a decade or so.
  16. If I buy it from the official Muse store, will it help towards its chart position in the UK singles chart? I wanna buy it but only if it helps it chart. lol I think it's probably their best "lead single" since Plug in Baby
  17. Well I like it. A lot better than Survival (which I hated) and Unsustainable (which I liked).
  18. I love Madness. Sounds like 80s Queen + 90s U2 thrown in a blender.
  19. So far this is the best season yet
  20. Can't wait for tonight's episode. What will happen next!?
  21. Kill the DJ rocks. Loving Uno so far.
  22. The latest episode is one of the best of the entire series so far IMO
  23. Oh Love is great. A great melody to it. Let Yourself Go is fantastic - love that it really sounds like their Insomniac-era stuff. They weren't lying about some of it being old school Green Day. Really hyped for the Uno/Dos/Tre trilogy now! :D
  24. I love Unsustainable! After hearing Survival I was very worried because I hated it. I never liked Neutron Star Collision either, but Unsustainable has restored my faith in Muse. Rejoice! Some of the songs on The 2nd Law sound really cool too. Can't wait to hear Supremacy, Save Me and Liquid State.
