Any "store-exclusive" bonus tracks in U.S.?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there are any stores like target, walmart, etc. in the U.S. that are having any promotion where X&Y comes with an "exclusive bonus" track or tracks?

Well I bought my cd at Wal-Mart and with it I got a link where I could download "murder". I don't know if its the same for all stores though

Thanks Andrew! :D I had forgot about that one, but I already have murder, too bad walmart didn't get a b-side from the actual X&Y sessions. ;)

Best Buy has the best deal of X&Y for $9.99 and a free download of crest of waves.

Thanks colduser, ;) but that just strikes me as strange that no stores seem to have any "exclusives" other than b-sides that have been available for quite some time already.

Thats what I was thinking...I guess it would make too much sense :P .

Yeah, I got X&Y at midnight and it came with a free download of Murder. Of course it's in .WMA format so I have to convert it to .mp3 now.

I got this deal.

Circuit City had a live version of Yellow for download, but the location I went to didn't have X&Y in stock, so Best Buy was the next stop.

i've got an extra best buy download for anyone who wants it, just see the multimedia section...

I thought it was kind of odd that the "exclusive" download was of a b-side that's already been available for a few years (in my case "Crest Of Waves"). And, it also looks like you have to create an account on Napster if you even want to get it. :P

Tower Records gave me a sticker that says X & Y will be out on June 7. I'll have to mark that on my calendar.

Funny thing is, when I ripped my CD it already had Murder on there I believe ^_^() sly lil devils

Wait, nvm, I was wrong.. its not a bonus track, its just 'Till Kingdom Come >.> my bad :P

I got the Best Buy deal too.... :dozey: but I already had Crest Of Waves....

yeah, at least they could of put a studio version of Proof or something :idea2:

I got a free download of a song called "I Ran Away" when I bought my copy of X&Y at Sam Goody yesterday. I also got "Parachutes" for 8 bucks because I bought the new one. The new one also cost only 15 bucks, so if you want to get the CD, I'd go there.

If you buy the CD at Target ($9.98 :D ), you get a code for a free download of "Animals."

I got one at Target... but I notice that the cover isn't the same as others, mine doesn't have the lines in the background. Why is that? (I'm new, so I'm sorry if it was discussed already!)

It's not supposed to be a solid blue background???

I'm not sure, honestly. I saw a couple of people's avatars with the lines in the background... then I got one with straight blue.

Then, also, I was in Target, and through the clear CD case spine, I could see that some had this white block printed there, but I couldn't see the rest because it was under the pamphlet, and some didn't. Any clue on this as well?

Mine has a solid blue background and then on the side/spine it's also solid and just says Coldplay in green.

Professor Peedston I love your avatar, that's hilarious. Is that your cat?
