I would just like to know when do Coldplay usually start the concert?

Because.. I'm coming with a plane at 8.00 PM in Dublin airport and I'm wondering if I can catch the beginning of their concert in Marlay park...

They'll probably be on stage by 9 but the airport is a fair drive away from Marley park :stunned:

But knowing the crazy taxi drivers over here, you might make it on time :)

Hahaha, I'm glad you had an awesome time. I had a friend who went to it as well and she had an amazing time from what I hear.....give me light give me dark, 20,000 Irish people in Marlay Park! Bono and Andrea Corr, Shane McGowan, Christy Moore! Damn I wish I was there tonight (so much better than bidding on eBay and listening to X&Y).

From what I could hear on the phone it was amazing!

Clocks & Til Kingdom Come were my highlights, the weather was glorious, the setting was beautiful and the music was fantastic!!!

unbeleiveable night, the best gig ive ever seen, before today it was oasis in 2002, but that was a class above, can anyone rember the exact change in lyrics at the end of Fix You? and OMG Swallowed in the Sea - what a surprize

It was quite brilliant what with Christy Moore in the lyrics and Swallowed in the Sea in the set and the cool little light during Fix You.

 

They were better at Witnness 2003 though what with the double encore and such.

Highlights for me were Politik and Yellow and when Chris started swinging that light around :D

 

I recorded the end of Yellow on my fone but the quality is shit.

My mates took a few video clips of the gig with their mobiles aswell, haven't seen them all yet tho.

 

Talking with a friend who went with his girlfriend who admitted he didn't like coldplay yesterday and he thought the gig was amazing! :P true music will always rise to the top and never die!

 

Anyway , cant wait till the next time I see them live

I was there myself in marlay park, the concert was GREAT! the weather was brill and it was a great night.the only thing i didn't like was the nightmare finding the venue,only 1 sign and it was no help,spent over 1 1/2 hours trying to find it.well worth the wait though!

Yeah I can understand how it would have been a nightmare to find marley park! :stunned: I only live 10 minutes from there so I was so glad that that's where they played :)
