Rapper Lil' Kim: Goin' Ta Jail!

Featured Replies

I won't be shedding any tears! :)

You'll be crying on the inside I bet, I know i will be.

No I won't! Perjury is a very serious business and shouldn't be taken lightly because it makes a mockery of the legal system.

It seems like she got what she deserved, as did Jeffrey Archer in the U.K.

your post is a mockery!!! there are sex offenders that are on the street.... raping and killing because a JUDGE decided to let him go get help.. after many repeat offences.. and purgery is a crime?? compared to others.. its highly overrated.

Two wrongs don't make a right. They should deal with the sex offenders too, but it has nothing to do with this case.

she didnt rat out her friend....... thats keepin it real to me!!!

but she stayed to her lyrics... she said she'd go to jail for a friend.. and she has! :D

Rap star Lil' Kim jailed for year and a day

FOREIGN STAFF

THE American rap artist Lil' Kim has been sentenced to one year and one day in prison for perjury and conspiracy, escaping a longer sentence after telling a judge she was a "God-fearing good person" who regretted lying to a federal grand jury about a 2001 shoot-out outside a Manhattan radio station.

United States District Judge Gerard Lynch said he had weighed up the public perception of sending the young black entertainer to prison far longer than Martha Stewart, the lifestyle celebrity who spent five months in prison and remains under house arrest after a false statements conviction.

Judge Lynch said the Grammy winner deserved more time in jail because she had lied about a violent crime. Kim had told a grand jury she did not notice two of her close friends at the scene of the shoot-out.

O.K. I know a bit now.

Some people might think what she did was admirable, but at the end of the day, she has to take what's coming to her.

yea.... when you can buy them... they're lovely..
