I dont know why anyone's noticing this thread above any of my others (Which are 10 times weirder)

In case you hadn't noticed, I was defending it, given some of the others that are out there! :)

Anyway, I have neither cat nor dog, but I have "lived" with dogs before and feel that dogs are much more useful and make far better companions.

Cats are far too independent and there isn't much you can do with them, really, is there?

Dogs can also alert you to possible danger and, in some cases, guard or defend you.

Dogs are in general far more animated and display their "characters" more.

If I lived on a farm or in the middle of the countryside I wouldn't hesitate to have a dog.

However, in a town or city there are far too many "negatives".............

from the photos it looks like Reilly lives in an area which is ideal for a dog.

Yeah I noticed, thanks Mark. But things are cool anyway.

Hope you appreciate the comment about your photos, too - it's sincere. It appears you live in a lovely part of the world.

I'm sure I would like it.

I love dogs. Always have, always will. Cats are a little too independent for my taste, and I'm allergic to them.

Yeah, i know. As soon as I touch a cat, my eyes itch and water like crazy. It is not good.

I'm also allergic to dust. I feel your pain :)

I didn't know you could be allergic to people?

the whoile dust thing is incredibly annoying though  *curses dust*

Can you categorise chavs as "people"??
