I am going away for some time and i wanted to take some cds with me, but my ex took most of them in his car, so now I am screwed. Anyway, I am trying to burn some mp3s onto cd, but it's not working out very well. I downloaded the windows media update and it is burning them as wav's, since it only fits like 15 on a cd. Also, I tried downloading nero,but the file that saved is a exe.part and won't open.

 

Someone please help. How do I convert wav's to mp3s in windows media player to burn?

c'mon people.. anybody?

Well, I'd like to help, but my dad hasn't taught me how to do it yet..sorry :(

eeek.. I think you might need a converter.. I dont think media player lets you burn as mp3s.... does your cd player play mp3s??? Thats the only reason I could see why you want to burn them as mp3s....

I rip in WMP as mp3s, play in ituns, and burn using easy creator classic

Nero is the only way to go ... well not the only, but it is the best. Try downloading it again from here. You only need Package 1. To burn an mp3 cd, all you need to do is make a Data disc and just copy the files over and burn.

nearly correct. one thing left: when you open nero burning rom, you have the choice, which media do ya want to burn. choose "audio" disc. then you can drag'n'drop your mp3 media into nero and finally burn the disc.
