oh i've been to some crazy flyers games. not recently, because they've raised ticket prices so high that ordinary fans can't afford to go to games anymore (including me). but before that... and especially back in the spectrum before we got the FU center... yeah that could get pretty crazy sometimes.

Ha ha ha! Did you say 'FU center'? I'm assuming it's an abbreviation but it still sounds funny. We've had the same bloody arena since the franchise started. There are a lot of good memories in that place. :)

hehe yeah it's the First Union center. that was the joke, when they first named it that (it used to be the Corestate Center but Corestate merged with First Union bank so they changed the name) that it was so perfect for Philadelphia. you know, us being the worst fans in the world and all :roll:

Well, at least they knew about it and it wasn't an oversight. Our arena used to be called The Coliseum because it looks like the Coliseum in Italy. Now it's called Skyreach Center after a construction company. Go figure! :roll:

yep. not many places around anymore with real names. i think my favorite ridiculous-sounding corporate sponsor name is the National Car Rental Center in Florida.

Yeah, that does sounds pretty bad. I think my favorite would have to be Toronto's Air Canada Center. Air Canada is quickly going out of business here in Canada.

Nah, I timed everything out correctly. I studied for about 9 or so hours today. I'll just study late into the evening and get up early tomorrow and study some more. Study. Study. Study. That's all I ever do anymore. I haven't been out of my house in....... *counts fingers* .... 4 days! I don't even know what day it is anymore. It's Tuesday, right? In any case, I'm losing my mind. We are going to kick Philadelphia's ASS!! I find it funny how around playoffs time every year everyone in Toronto becomes a huge Leafs fan and drives around all decked out in Leafs stuff. Although I do like it. I also like the little boys who wear Leafs jerseys :)
