not a real big fan of TRL, but i support coldplay any chance that i get!!! done! :D

I did as well!

However, I don't feel Coldplay will ever get its proper dues on MTV :P

So sorry but TRL just represents a bunch of screaming-phychotic-crazy-wanna-be fans and they won't even play videos for more than half a minute. Please no. Coldplay deserves better! I'll pass out the day I ever see Coldplay on TRL...noo!

Hell no. 0_o

i just couldn't bear to see a bunch of people giving their "shout outs" to their friends as a chopped up version of the video plays as background. trl is great for newer artists trying to get more exposure, but i just don't think coldplay fits into that environment... just my opinion. :)

Yeah i know what you mean. And yeah.....y do they always chop songs up SO short?!?! It's ridiculous!

they chop up the songs because they have to make time for the REALLY important stuff, like commercials every five minutes, and screaming people  . trl cannot be bothered with technicalities like those pesky music videos!! (i think i have my smart ass hat on today... sorry ;)

Hahaha, no you're right. The thing that makes me laugh the most is that MTV stands for Music Television and yet there is no actual MUSIC on MTV anymore, just stupid programmes like Newlyweds etc! (that's UK MTV anyways, i dont know about US etc)

oh yeah - it is just as bad here, the only time mtv plays a video in it's entirety is between 4 and 6 in the morning... and most of their shows aren't even good anymore since the osborne's went off.

It used to be good wayy back. When it was called Total Request (not live) and it was just the top 5 songs. Actual good music and entire videos.

ah yes, those were the days, back when music television had music (we sound like we are OLD)

Hahaha yeah we do!!

'yes kids, back in my day they used to actually play MUSIC on MTV'

'No way grandma!!! you're lying!!!'
