Has anyone met Coldplay after a gig? I was just wondering if it is worth it to wait outside of the concert or anything to try to meet the boys. I will be seeing them at Nissan Pavilion in 2 days.

Nope. They're immediately escorted out of the place afterwards... :(

I have a friend who saw them before the show started. But I hear not many see them after.

word on the street is to meet them before the gig... they tend to casually walk in and out of the venue hours before the show. :)

Yeah I saw them at the reebok stadium come out into cars in the day time after practice.

maybe u find someone on here who was getting them out of their bus after the oberhausen show :D . no clue who this cud be. really. i promise. :rolleyes:

hahaha. same here whisperator. i got a v.i.p. pass and got to go in their dressing room and stuff. didn't get to meet em, but i am keeping my hopes up for either the tampa or orlando show. there's a pic of me at chris's piano on my myspace.

 

but, i did see the guys playing ping pong. i swear, it was amazing. will was really good.

well, it was worth trying. :D

They're much more careful about not being seen these days. I remember when I waited all day to get front row (general admission) for a Cleveland date on the ROBTTH tour the people in front of us met them. So I do believe your best bet is before the show. However, now that they play massive arenas and admission is no longer general, that is probably impossible.

you cant see them after a show...the second they get off stage, they change and leave through a private exit. the only time they dont rush to leave after a show is at MSG b/c they are in the middle of NYC and beating traffic isn't really an issue.

when the show is in a big city...when at ampitheatres and pavillions they leave the second its over.

yea ive heard that your best bet is before show... usually its jonny and will though. I havent heard of anyone meeting chris or guy before the show but im sure they come out sometimes... Id be equally happy to meet any of them so im crossing my fingers for orlando or tampa!

^ lol are u serious? haha u can hang out at the maccas thats right next to the entertainment centre :lol: i dunno if i could ever wait out for any band... too lazy lol... but i would LOVE to meet them!

At the show in Sacramento, I walked through an empty loading dock about 4 hours before the show. I just walked in liked I owned the place and nobody asked any questions - I walked by Fiona Apple's dressing room and asked for a bathroom, used it, then walked straight out.
