Goldfrapp?

Featured Replies

How's the band?

Just want to know, since i am going to coldplay gig on monday !!!

(maybe someone can upload a good song)

I absolutely LOVE Goldfrapp! Their stuff is not to everyone's taste, but i think i love them because I love a lot of T-Rex stuff, and a lot of Goldfrapp's style kinda reminds me of T-Rex.

Anyways, here are two fantastic songs for you called 'Ooh La La' and 'Strict Machine', two great songs they are bound to play:

Hope you like them, and have a great time at the concert!! :)

Hi,

i saw them yesterday in oberhausen and i must say. It is not my kind of music what i like. They were very loud, bumping bases, synthetic and with a woman, who have a very high voice. After a few songs, i thought my ears will get a defect with that ?music?. i find, they are not very worth to see them. But, decide by yourself and there maybe a lots of people outthere who like them.

Enjoy, your coldplay show. Yesterday, i did.

Greetings...

^agreed.

I guess the problem is that goldfrapp does not really "fit" into the place. it's not my taste and well... yes. didn't like them too much, but that does not mean they're bad.

Thanks for the links, i m going to listen to the songs right now...

Hopefully they are good enough as a warm up band...

I was in Oberhausen, too and didn't like Goldfrapp either. Not exactly the music style for those who like Coldplay. Maybe some liked it, but it was too loud, I think, and at first, when they began to play, the singer looked like a bat to me with her pink "wings".

 , yeah i have to agree, i thought it was a strange choice of support act for Coldplay! I wish they were supporting in London! But then again, i am looking forward to seeing Richard Ashcroft do Bittersweet Symphony! :)

What? Goldcrap?

Just kidding :P Haven't heard much of them really, but a strange choise of support act indeed.
