Hellooo my dear friends from green, peaceful Ireland :D

 

I live in Vienna, the capital of Austria, and I just got the offer from a teacher of my school that I get one of four university places at "Waterford Institute of Technology". I haven't finished school yet, so I won't start studying there - it's just for one month. I'll be there in February next year and I was wondering if any Coldplay fans are at this university?! ;) I heard it's the third biggest university in Ireland..

 

I'm very excited, I've never been to Ireland before and it's a huge thing to get away from home for a whole month to study with strangers... Anyway, I was just interested in finding out what Waterford / Ireland thinks of Coldplay :wink3:

Well waterford is a county :) the town is actually pretty small though :idea2: but it's full of pubs and they're always fun down the country :lol:

I'm sure you'll love it! You just might find it a bit difficult to understand the accent :stunned: :idea2:

Don't worry too much, I'm sure not everyone from the college will be from waterford :idea2: :) and some accents are really mild and easy to understand :D

I'm half Irish. The grandparents were from Cork, methinks.
