Yeah, that's all I'm hearing. Sorta sounds like dial-up... but not really.

I don't know about A Message... but during the live performance of Low on MTV's Live Leak theres this new effect I hear from Johnny thats just too cool. Listen for it at 2:06.. its a quick/short police siren type sound between Guy's/Will's bass line/drums. very cool. gotta turn it up though.. i was blasting it in my car when i first heard it.

glad you heard it.. i love hearing new stuff. part of why i got into radiohead was cause of johnny's effects.

Listening to "A Message" today I noticed some weird effect and was wondering if anyone knew what it was. I heard it too and now that you mention it...it may be the pedal...who knows??
