Wow - what a night!

 

Tonight was special. Just before the show started - the second of three in Buenos Aires - I was asked to do two jobs during the concert.

 

Job number 1 was straightforward. On cue, I had to help throw some giant coloured balloons into the crowd during 'Yellow'. It may sound easy, and, well, it was. And a whole lot of fun too!

 

Job number 2 on the other hand was a little more involved. Miller, who's in charge of making sure Chris' piano sounds great, is also the tour diarist and general documenter. Tonight he wanted to film a special part of the show where the band 'relocate' onto a balcony in the theatre to serenade the audience from there. And out of the blue, they'd decided to play a rendition of Great Balls of Fire! Classic! Only he wanted a close-up view (to be filmed by himself), and a view from the back of the audience...to be filmed by me! What an honour.

 

So as the last few notes of The Scientist faded away, me and the camcorder sneaked onto stage to film them making their way to the balcony. As they walked off stage left, I went stage right and round the back of the audience. It meant I got a great shot of 2,000 people staring up at the band doing their acoustic set. It was a great moment - although my hand was shaking so much the footage is a bit, let's say 'homemade'.

 

My career as band tour cameraman has begun. Next stop, a Spinal Tap re-make featuring Coldplay. (Directed by Ricky Gervais...I wish!)

Mientras caminaba hacia el instituto a la mañana con el Live 2003 retumbando en mis oidos iba con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja.

algunos se deben acordar de mi como la chica que tenía la camarota de fotos

encima,bueno eh pasado una de las mejores semanas de mi vida sinceramente

poder ver a la banda desde adentro del hotel fue increíble que Chris Martin

me conociera y me saludara todos los días cuando me veía en la piscina es

algo que no puedo creer,poder dialogar con el y ver que es un tipo tan dulce

y tan normal al mismo tiempo la verdad que es una excelente persona

personalmente se los puedo asegurar,y tiene un sentido del humor

escepcional.Bueno lo que quería comentarles como ya le dije a algunos que el

día que ellos se fueron el bajo a la piscina donde yo estaba para poder

despedirse de mi y yo al ver la actuación que tuvo la prenza con el le dije

que fue una verguenza como lo trataron, y encima el más humilde me dijo que

no era una verguenza pero sobre todo le hise saber que nosotros los fans lo

queremos, que estabamos agradecidos que a todos el recital les parecio

espectacular, y de mi parte de desee lo mejor y casi se pone a llorar el

tipo eso me mato,pero bueno lo importante es que ellos perciban el amor que

les tenemos y que queremos que vuelvan, bueno les mando un beso a todos y la

verdad que elegimos bien a nuestro idolos por que yo los pude conocer y

tratar con ellos en su intimidad y la verdad que no solo son musicos

excelentes si no que tambien don excelentes personas.Les mando un beso a

todos.

che, tengo un archivo de audio del concierto, pero solo es entendible la parte acustica, el resto es puro ruido (se saturaba el microgfono porq era un mp3 player...). Alguien sabe qué programa puedo usar para extraer sólo esos minutos??
