I don't care that the guys switch instruments every now and then. I think it makes it a little bit more interesting. The fact that everyone can play anything proves that these guys are great. And hey, so what if Chris' dance looks gay? (by the way, I don't think there's such thing as a 'gay' way to dance) :shifty:. Laugh about it and let it go. It's a performance.

As a matter of fact, they are. Wow, I thought they were the official ones (that is what I was told). So now I understand why they were different/wrong. Thanks for the clarification ;) As Romy says, is hard to translate the lyrics sometimes, esp when they talk about things that can have such different meanings, like this song :(

I have the lyrics (supposedly the original ones) and it's not written with capitals... if you have the booklet with the lyrics like that then it must be like you say. The first time it says 'they were sitting on the strawberry swing' but now that you mention, afterwards it is used like a proper name:thinking: OK, I'm officialy confused

^ Because it's not written with capital letters; it couldn't be a place like Violet Hill, which actually exists. I'm thinking it's an actual swing because the song talks about being sit on a swing, and 'strawberry' sometimes aludes to the colour of the fruit.

You take your camera. If anyone wants to take it, you say you won't give it to them but if you must then you'll give them the batteries, "that way you won't be able to take photos". And then you hide extra batteries somewhere else (batteries are very easy to hide). I recommend putting old batteries inside your camera so you won't be giving new ones the security man/woman .

I think that some of the lyrics could be apllied to the war. And it's not all about the US, it involves other countries as well, whether they are fighting or just simply saying what they think about it. ps. I have a few doubts about 'Death and all his friends'. If someone would like to help me (maybe someone whose mother tongue is English) please check out the DAAHF lyrics thread. Thanks!

To me it's a swing (you know, like the ones you find in a playground. Am I right?

I've been listening to the song a lot and the verse 'no better and no worse' to me sounds like 'and the better and the worse'. Thoughts? Does it make more sense or is it just me? God this song is good!:smug:

I like the lyrics very much. The theme seems to be recurrent (at least in these two songs). I'm having trouble translating the title -please know that English is not my mother tongue. I don't know if 'a spell' has to do with magic (I don't think so) or with a short period of time (which is my first option).
