i was just opening up this thread to know what song musicians in here perform that makes them think, "damn, i'm not too bad at this instrument after all" like being able to play the solo in Stairway, the rolling piano of Clocks, or the thunderous yet simple beauty of Victor Wooten's bass-amazing grace. not what song you enjoy playing the most, just the one that when you play, you feel shows your technical ability best.

Coldplay songs are easy to play lol. So I would say Karma Police.

Doesn't really matter, I guess my biggest accomplishment is Amsterdam so far. I learned Kingdom Come in 5 minutes while waiting for the bus this morning. Heh.

Karma Police? That's awesome. I've been trying to learn that. Great chord progression. How long've you been playing? I have for about six months now, and I struggle a little with the rythm, it changes lots through the song.

 

The one I enjoy most is playing all the way through 'Street Spirit' because it's a quick arpeggio which is kinda difficult to pick up at first.

Yeah, do you have music for Karma Police too? I'm trying to learn it from guitar chords, but that doesn't work well.

If you check out the link right above, there are the notes for Karma Police and Street Spirit on the piano. You can download an audio clip of the song being played on the piano. It helped me to figure out the rhythm.

how did u manage to play karma police properly? the one on the site is arranged for a duet... did u only learn one of them?

I can (kinda) play paranoid android on guitar. Now that is one badass song!
