hi guys, i downloaded a torrent. with the program bittorrent i have convert it in xvid. but i don´t know how can i open it. here`s the name of the file

what do you mean? do you think its a avi file? but i can´t open it with a divx player.

You have to download a codec first..

(Search "k-lite codec" in our best friend Google)

 

If you install it, it will work by itself.. You wont have to do anything else..

first you have to open the .torrent file with your bitorrent client (e.g. uTorrent)

then you should get an .avi file you could watch with your media player if you have installed an divx codec ;>

I think you didn't get a xvid binary build. When any version of xvid is released it is just source, they don't make a build because of legal reasons. Try downloading a xvid binary build and running it through that.
