i'm listening to the album and it's pretty solid actually. i'm a bit surprised because i didn't expect a lot

her cover of Harrison's classic is pretty good, i really like it :thumbsup:

it's actually one of those few 2006 albums i still listen to

 

i regret i didn't put it higher on my "best of 2006" list :ashamed:

i love this record so much. right now almost more so than her records with rilo kiley. not that i love them any less!

have any of you seen jenny's show? when i saw her open for death cab, she said it was their "last show ever," whatever that means. i hope it doesn't mean the obvious.

 

download her set from october 15th on npr's website, it's amazing. lots of great songs that aren't on rabbit fur coat, like fernando, carpet baggers and jack killed mom.
