It is a strange thing to read about a Chris Martin solo album. I really wonder what it would sound like - I mean if he was on his own and could do whatever pleased him ?

My guess is they will do 6 more albums. The question is (no offence to anyone here) will everyone follow their new directions ?

I don't think they'll stop verry soon... I can see them already play when they're like 70 and givin' this reunion-concert.. From their 9 cd's :devilish:

I don't think Chris would go solo....without each other it just won't happen. I hope they don't go all Rolling Stones either. A very sad spectacle indeed.

I'd say about 8-12, in that area. They've clearly got loads of ideas (look at all the good b-sides).

I think as a band maybe 5 or 6. But I do see them all (especially chris and jonny) carrying on writing material for other bands etc.

agreed..if the critics go the same..i never saw them as a bend who'll try try try until they succed cus they've never been on that road.every success happen immidiatly (spelling :() and chris has too little self confidence to go over and try again.

^^ ditto...they've gotta do their absolute best in their next album...even better than rush of blood to the head so that they can take their music and popularity to a whole new level :) by the way i hope they go for around 6 really well done albums ;)
