I am working on pictures as we speak and my videos will follow! This won't be like Ode To Deodorant people... :P

Hi all,

I got tickets for Wednesday but we were so far back we could barely see them on stage... So I got more tickets for Friday, and they were SO much better. Brilliant night all round.

Here's some pics, and a video of Chris running past me with his head down :D http://www.tizz66.com/coldplay/

Rikki

I was there Friday and have to admit the sound for the first 3 or 4 songs was disappointing.

Worse than that though were the complete prats who decided to try and push their way to the front just before Coldplay came on. I got there relatively early and after a "discussion" with the jobsworth security re my camera got near the front bout 6 people away slightly stage right with my better half. Not much room down there after Richard Ashcroft who I have to say was absolutely superb in my opinion however, then the worse for drink brigade started to try and get past you. Unfortunately one such nice person decided to do a kidney punch on my better half which resulted in her nearly pasing out and a row ensued followed by us having to go to the back to be seen by st johns .

I haveento a fair few gigs in my time but I have never seen such complete inept stewarding and complete beered up idiots at all. Sort of spoilt the whole thing but did get 3 great shots of Chris when he came to the back. All in all an average gig for me.

I went on the Weds night and went home quite disappointed but Friday was the night of all nights! Got there for Richard Ashcroft, who I'd missed last time, and he was great. Bittersweet Symphony was worth the entrance fee alone (I'm kind of lying actually but it was very very good!).

I'd certainly like to see a RA headlining gig at some point as I really enjoyed his set. I had a fabulous view - far right hand side, only a handful of rows back.

The sound had improved since Weds, probably because I was further in, or they'd tweaked. And the performance itself was flawless - they were a different band to the one I'd complained about 2 nights before. The banter was in full flow and it turned into one if their greatest shows ever (IMO). It was certainly the best gig I've attended by anyone and I don't think any other band would give me the feelings I had on Friday. Pure class. The fact I was within grabbing distance of Chris has absolutely nothing to do with it :D :D

I was standing with a great bunch of people and we sang, bounced and danced for our lives! I've not experienced such a friendly atmosphere at a gig before - people randomly chatting and laughing together. It turned into a mini mosh pit during Talk!

It would have been amazing to hear Shiver and Trouble like the lucky people on Thursday but never mind. I can forgive them that because the show was such a triumph.

I went away with tears in my eyes after the best couple of hours I'd ever had. Cheers Coldplay.

Right people. I have uploaded my pictures from the night. For those who were right at the front or standing this should give you a different perspective and I hope you enjoy them. In my signature are some numbers. Each one is a link to a picture site. 1 is from Crystal Palace. 2 is more comprehensive from Crystal Palace and 3 is from Earl's Court. On 2 and 3 you need a password. The password is "ted". Enjoy! :D
