Richard Pryor passes away

 

 

Richard Pryor died Sat 11/12 - 05, of a heart attack. He was 65 years old and had been fighting multiple sclerosis for several years. He was one of the greats. If you like Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle or damn near any comedian today, you can thank Richard for being one of their biggest influences.

 

Pryor once marveled "that I live in racist America and I'm uneducated, yet a lot of people love me and like what I do, and I can make a living from it. You can't do much better than that."

 

HE WAS AND WILL STILL BE A TRULY LEGENG AND A FACE FOR THE COMEDIANS AROUND THE WORLD!!!

When was that? It must been hilariuos, and honouring....to see such a frontman of comdedy....back in those days you know...work har for the money as a black dude in america...

 

Has it got big in the news this weekend in the US or what?

 

They should probably do a charity-show for him in the near future I hope...with the best comedians of today...It would be a huge moment to have the chance to see all comedians at one place...

I saw him just before his free basing accident. He was truely amazing to see live. Most comedians work on their jokes, cutting and shaping the same monolog until it's just right, but not Richard. He just went up on stage and started talking, did a different set everynight because he wasn't telling "jokes", he was just telling about his life. Fearless, brilliant and without a doubt, the funniest motherfucker ever.
