December 13, 200520 yr I posted this in coldplay.com but maybe i'll get a better reception here. Also does anyone know if Guy has recorded anyone at his studio or just himself and 'friends'? *** I was on wikiepedia.com and I stumbled upon a profile on Guy Berryman and it said he and Will Champion had recently played on Melagne (former a-ha member) solo album. I know Chris has done extensive "collaborative" work, just curious if there were any other projects that the "over paid session players" (as JonMoss slyly puts it!) have played on anything else! cheers nic rocksnobing.com
December 14, 200520 yr Actually the collaboration was on 'Magne F' side project solo release this year, 'Past Perfect Future Tense': "With a career spanning over two decades, and a member of one of the most successful and revered bands, A-ha, Magne F has penned his first solo album, ‘Past perfect future tense’, which features collaborations from Andy Dunlop from Travis, Ed Harcourt and half of Coldplay. ‘Kryptonite’ is a beautifully crafted song that portrays his intense lyrical style- it is a deeply honest, bold and epic single." Pic of Magne F. (Mags) along with Chris Martin: And to note, a-ha are still going strong... I just posted a recent concert review on the forum; amazing tour, well worth the journey from the U.S. to catch the shows: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25023 *** I was on wikiepedia.com and I stumbled upon a profile on Guy Berryman and it said he and Will Champion had recently played on Melagne (former a-ha member) solo album... rocksnobing.com
