there are similarities (I'd always thought they were the same thing), but now I'm learning it I see the differences. Making up sentences is touuugh

i dont know if its because i learned portuguese first, but i think that when it comes to structures, they r pretty much the same... :P

well... i speak way better than i write... i dont think speaking is so hard... i get stuck at writing sometimes... usually coz i just cant think in spanish, so its kinda annoying to have to think in portuguese and translate to spanish...

I feel the same thing about portuguese, though I think in English sometimes to translate.

i dont really like spanish to be honest... i only speak it if i really have to... writing and reading, i just dont have the patience... and i have no idea why is that...

Yeah, Latin languages are tough to learn for those English/German (or similiar languages) speakers, mainly because there are so many verb combinations
