Yeah, you sound like a writer. I dunno why. Like... you're... EXPRESSIVE! That's... what it comes down to. You'd make an awesome columnist.

That was embarrassing.

Whenever I get super compliments I can't handle it.

lol me neither. God, my mom keeps on pushing me to do music. Arggggh I'm not THAT good. Okay... well... I... am... but holy crap I am so not gonna be a professional musician! Actually, I think I'll be professional-level by the time I graduate high school. I'm most likely taking Music as a minor.

Do you love it?

Music? Hmm. Kinda. I've been playing piano since I was 5 and I had this Russian teacher (I still have her... after 7 years. Amazing.) who I was scared of and now, because well, I don't practice much, but I'm now familiar with it, so my teacher and I are a lot better now. I think she thinks I'm her best student. But I never practice.

The other thing is, I only play piano. Most people play like 5 billion instruments, but only know one.

You can always pick up others. Sometime.

I really have only the slightest idea of what I'm talking about.

Yeah... I really really really wanna learn the gee-taar.

It is never too late, grasshopper.

Yeah... but I dunno if my family can afford guitar lessons. My mom kinda forgets how to play. My brother's a guitar genius, but there's no way I'd ever learn from him 'cause 1) He lives 1000 miles away, that might be teeny bit of a problem 2) He's meeeaaann.

Holy Moly. Well... damn, then!

Hahah yep, just a little bit of a problem.

Hey, I might hit 1000 before I go to bed!

I have to right now.

My house is a cesspool. So I HAVE to sleep. Nooooo!

I've been playing guitar for over a year now and never had a lesson. I don't think I'm any Jimmy Page or Edge yet. But hey, I can play Talk ALL the way through. And quite a few others  ;)

You really don't need lessons to master an instrument. You just need a guitar, a pick and a good book. :)

LMFAO I just realized this thread was from way back in December, maybe what I just said wasn't too relevant!

I've never converted anyone... Well. I don't know. Maybe I have, but not to the extent that I'm a fan.

I never managed to convert anyone, actually, I never tried to do so. Of course, I always show or send songs (mainly the single songs...) to my friends if they ask me, but I never forced them to like Coldplay. I don't think it would work ;)

I too can never claim that I've hated Coldplay, it is just I didn't hear much of them. The first CP song I heard was Yellow...and I liked it a lot. Then I heard 'The Scientist' in a clothing store and thought it was good. Then I downloaded Shiver and Amsterdam. Amsterdam immediately became my favorite song of all time (Still is) but I still didn't investigate coldplay a lot. Then my brother played 'See You Soon' in August of '04 and I think that was what 'Sparked' (pun intended) my interest in Coldplay. I bought the CD's in this order...Live 2003, ROBTTH, and Parachutes...kinda backward, but oh well. X&Y is fun to listen to as well. Coldplay will forever be my favorite band...I hope...lol
