may want to re-title this thread from "README : How to use the SEARCH button"

to

README: Use search function before creating a thread requesting songs/videos!!! Search Function How To For dummys/FAQ. :P

coldplay9027, LOL!!! i like chris using the middle finger gesture then next the "use the search!!!" comment. you're great!

new title: README: use search button or we will hunt you down and MAKE YOU

I think I can take everyone on latinamerica... who's taking the northern hemisphere?

we should record a wav file of one of us saying "use the search button, before requesting" and when upload in rapidshare and send the link directly to the person requesting the song when it is obvious that they didn't look... they'll download it and when they listen to it... will find a funny surprise ;)

someone with a british accent should do it.. to make it more elegant :D

it's been up as a sticky but has it done anything to stop the req threads? it would be nice to know who of those who posted request threads really used the search function....

I will not accept this! I'll bump this one everyday :D

hehehehehehehe this is funny. good ideas. I started a new tread with lots of bsides and rare tracks all in an organized list so hopefully this will help a little on the repetativeness. i plan to keep it updated too so hopefully that will help. However the search function isn't the greatest. is there any way that we can get a better one maybe?

exactly... practice makes perfection

i stole this from another place... (sorry AOA but this should be everywhere) but its a good look and listen regarding posting a new thread and the search button... it had me rolling on the floor laughing... http://www.linuxbench.org/Posting.html hope you all enjoy it.

sooo awesome

I'm starting to post this to every already made request!!!!

isn't it a good idea that newbies aren't able to make a new topic unless they've achieved a number of posts, lets say 50 or so...

I first was in a Forum with a rule like that. It's only a rule for the moderators to do that...

well i was a new user so I wanted to READ the sticky.... HUGE REWARD in doing so, if only we had that when we started our thread... :P
