I'm looking for the transcript of an interview with Chris Martin that was released by EMI with the Press Kit for "X and Y". It should be from around May 2005. It's one of those standard PR interviews that newspapers and mags can then pull quotes out of.

 

Also I'm looking for the transcript of the NME interview with Chris Martin titled something like "Coldplay's Comeback". That's the one where NME got an exclusive lsiten to the new album.

 

I used to have both interviews, but they've gone missing and I really need to replace them ASAP.

The interview I'm looking for has some quotes such as:

 

"I'm terrified of police and people who work at airports. They're the only people you should be intimidated by, you know."

 

"It's about recognising miracles and incredible things that are around you all the time. It's not about having to explain them."

 

"This album's about feeling really pessimistic about the world but it is also about being optimistic because you know things can always change and the people that do bad things can be replaced by people who do good things."

Oh, the one I'm looking for has that German quote, "Lieber Ralph, Ich bin ein Coldplayer."

The one with the quote "Lieber Ralph, Ich bin ein Coldplayer" etc is from MTV's programme X&Y Inside Track. Don't know if that helps or not. :/

I think the guy here means the X&Y Interview Disc with 9 questions about the album and then each track explained by the band members.

 

I've got that one on my PC.

I downloaded the one dajrekshn mentioned -- it was the one listed as NME footage. I think that was the one I was looking for, but that video is heavily edited with music and videos.

 

There should be a full transcript of the interview the guys were taking part in. Anyone know where I can find a copy of that?
