See You Soon without capo ... possible?

Featured Replies

is it possible to play See You Soon without that bloody capo thing.

it's very expensive and i honestly don't wanna spend money on it :dozey:

LOL

My capo cost me three quid about two years ago and it has never let me down. Without it I couldn't play Moses! Just get yourself one honey!

you can play it without the capo except it will be 3 steps lower or something. o.o

oorrrr, you can tune all your strings three steps up and risk breaking all of them.

just get a capo, haha

well, a freakin capo costs freakin 20 €!!!

Yeah, but it's definitely worth it!

You can play many more lovely songs with it, Sparks for example or Wonderwall...

But it's up to you in the end ;-)

well, it's possible to play Wonderwall without a capo :wink3:

That's true, but it sounds better with... well, in my opinion at least ;-)

You can play 'see you soon' without a capo. Its sounds ok but sounds better with capo on 2nd fret which is where Chris Martin has it on the Live 2003 DVD. (If you can, I would get a capo, even if you are happy with 'see you soon' without a capo the next song you try may need one so you will get one eventually)

I think the great thing about a capo is that you can take songs that were previously too low/high for you to sing along with, and create a better range to sing the songs in. Now what i mean about songs that are too high, sing an octave lower, and use capo to raise it X # of steps...
