January 31, 200620 yr Ok......I'm really annoyed about the public events here in my area....it is always the same....the same drunk people.......the same bands.....so the same music.........most of the time the ambulance has to come because of some drunk people....at the end all you can see are drunk people vomiting in a corner.......and they are really expensive......so I don't go there anymore.....or not often.....I think here in my area you can also call it waste of money......unfortunately......because there are not many good bars/pubs.....so I better stay at home at weekends or go to friends houses! What about you?Do you live in a city and there is no problem about that?Do you also live in a little village and have the same problem?Or do you think it is just here in Germany like that? Come on.....tell me your opinion!
January 31, 200620 yr i don't visit the bars/pubs/discos (yet?) . what i heard is weird. i know people who buy marijuana in some public places :thinking: .also somebody mixed my friend's drink once and after he had to vomit :confused:
January 31, 200620 yr Author Ah no this sucks...........here in my area they also sell drugs,.....but I never saw this but I know that! As long as they don't offer it to kids they can do what they want....if they are a special clique for that I mean!
January 31, 200620 yr Well, Lübeck... 250.000 inhabs, loads of bars, discos, pubs and restaurants, many nice people... I have lots of variation in my night-life, so sometimes we drink at home or we go dancing or we go to the cinema and drink afterwards or we go to disco until 4am and then directly to work... blablabla... there are so many things I do. City-life can be quite nice sometimes. In the end it's a question of motivation and local possibilities
January 31, 200620 yr i heard germany/europe has a lot more parties than america because the legal age for drinking is a lot younger. i've never been to one of the parties you'd be referring to, but 80% of people my age have.
January 31, 200620 yr I live in a super small village where nothing happens except maybe someone buys a new car or the annual moose hunt begins.. :P kinda boring....if I want to go to a party or something like that, I have to take the bus into town and that can be really annoying sometimes. It's lucky I'm not a party-person! And the parties here don't seem to be very fun either cause everyone just get super drunk and vomits and destroy things :P noooo thanks! I rather go to the cinema with my friends or go bowling or something like that, much more fun!
