Does anyone know how to play on wine glasses? I mean with finger like Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality. Please help, I want to try it. :) :)

i know how! you wet your finger, and then circle it on the rim of the glass. and change the amount of water in each glass to get a different pitch... couldnt you have worked that out from the movie?

well it doesnt work...I tried to wet my finger and so on but nothing happened! I knew that i have to wet my finger but i thought i should have some special glass or special amount of water. but thanks anyway i am going to try again and again.

the glasses have to be thin rimmed. like a wine glass. if they are too thick then they wont do it.

I heard it only works really well with crystal glasses.

yeah thats what i meant.. if you flick the wine glass with your finger and it rings for ages, then that glass will work.

or you could play wine bottles with drum sticks like on low :D lol

If you just lightly put your finger on it I don't think it'll work. You kinda have to apply some pressure on it. I've tried it on a number of occasions at various restaurants. It kinda gets annoying after a while. Especially for the other people around the table. I wouldn't recommend it if you wanted to do a performance with it. It's more of a novelty or a comedic act if you ask me HAHAHA.
