Soundcheck time?

Featured Replies

anyone know around what time the boys come in for their soundcheck.....I'm debating whether to skip school today and leave earlier than I plan in order to make it to the Arrowhead Pond by the time they arrive there.......and perhaps get a chance to meet them, even if it's a longshot?(it kinda worked with U2, Bono and Co were late though....)

any estimate of when they might arrive, and I'd be sure to be at the loading dock area.......

thanks everyone!

according to the coldplayer they didn't soundcheck at all before the last gigs. ;)

well they did i think one or two soundchecks but they usually do it whenever they wanna try out some new material...so that's kinda bad cus no soundchecking lately.

Go for it man, Coldplay is the most meticulous band ever - every venue is different and has different acustics and they won't take the stage till they've got the sound just right. At Shoreline in August, they were soundchecking around 4:30pm, but I think it varies - just get there early and snoop around - it makes it more exciting anyway.

They did a soundcheck before the White River show in August 2005. I heard they played Rush of Blood and Sparks to name a few...and because they played Rush of Blood so well in soundcheck, that's when they decided to include it in the set for the first time since 2003. And it stayed in the set the rest of the 1st leg I believe. Pretty neat.

I wish they would have played Sparks too...Its my quest to see them perform it sometime in my life.

They did a soundcheck at the August 26, 2005 Chula Vista show for Green Eyes around 2:50 pm. I went ungodly early to the monday February 6, 2006 show and I didn't hear them soundcheck, but I did hear Fiona's soundcheck.
