I dont give a damn about cable. that means nothing to me, i was saying that because cable is cheap and thats how bad things are now. and cloths are a NECESSITY. good food is not. i'd take cloths over food any day. because i could go get cheap food. you dont even need to eat much food, i know people who eat one meal a day. and how is it selfish for me to put cloths over food? its not hurting ANYONE....maybe if i was putting my cloths over someone elses food or something. but i cant be selfish to myself.

 

you dont know shit about my parents. i have not once complained about the money problems, ive done all i can do to help them with it. so dont be ignorant and speak without knowing whats going on. my parents are lucky im not spoiled. you're a jerk...nothing more nothing less. you speak before you know the facts or anything.

I had to sleep outside today because my family lost their home a few years back, I had to drop out, get my own job, support myself. Because they can't anymore.

 

Load of shit, obviously. But boy, you don't know what poverty is. I think being poor is a bit more than "sucky".

 

 

And try eating real food once and a while. Fast food makes your body turn to jello....

After seeing people with NOTHING at all that still have a cheerful outlook on life, you seem a bit... spoiled, eh?

 

I've never really been that poor, but I have been stripped of everything but the necessities when I went on a trip to do some mission work around New Orleans... (actually, I had all the necessities like food 'n shelter 'n stuff, but I didn't have clean clothes for 3 days, and the water we drank was, uh, brown. :lol:)

 

...and, as I posted earlier in this thread, I felt the happiest over there. With no cable (actually, no TV at all), sleeping in a tent, doing manual labor everyday...

 

I think as long as you have clothes, food, shelter, and friends and people that love you, life really won't suck that bad...
