Example: I don't like Oasis. Therefore I don't buy Oasis records, I don't go to their shows, I don't read about them in mags, I don't stay up late to watch them on TV, I don't keep pics of them and I don't visit their web site and I sure as fuck don't join their message boards.

Man I hate it when people say things like "you're not a true fan!" yadda yadda.. but I could not even begin to imagine disliking my favorite band because one of them drank champagne at the Brits.. or for performing a certain way? It's beyond ridiculous. Chris is not the only member of Coldplay.

I used to think that too, but then the official forum turned into nothing but people that bitch and moan about how much they hate the band/Chris/what Chris says/what Chris does/what he names his kid/what he eats/what he wears/what he writes on his hand/how he talks/how he walks/how he sings/how he blah blah fucking blah! The official board is fucked beyond repair and if he wants to express his opinion, then go do it there along with all the other haters. I'm sure he will be welcomed with open arms. But I come here to talk about how much I love the band. And how great they are. And how fucking funny Chris is. And how I love their records. And I will not sit by and watch this place go to shit and become another festering pool of Coldplay hate.

He had other reasons too.

Agree. I just wanted to say that it's okay if you express that you dislike something. That's all. But you're right.

I think Coldplay is one of those groups that always delivers. While other bands have off nights, I really have not heard a live performance of theirs that I thought was lacking. I'm sure they can pull off another kick-ass leg of the tour.

Im no saying they suck..

because even Coldplays worse is other bands best,

Mary and I would always hope Chris would do something like say he hates the war or something like that just before presales, so all the "I hate Coldplay and I will never buy another thing they sale" shit would be going full strength and we would have a better shot at getting good seats. I would just like to add I hope their next record is totally bizzare and out there and all the look at me I'm so cool because I like Coldplay jerks move on the next big thing and I can just get on with the love. :sneaky:
