I was watching the nme awards and woundered if Coldplay were nominated for anything this year.

 

To my surprise they were...in the WORST BAND catagory :huh: :huh:

No probs. I think it was an issue some weeks ago when they revealed the nominees and as far as I know these weren't voted by NME but its readers. Assholes :(

Most of those votes came from Oasis fans.. it's obvious since their site was nominated for best site. And a whole lot of big Oasis fans want nothing to do with Coldplay for some reason.

Well I admit that Chris probably deserves the Worst Dressed award.

 

But I really don't understand. If you don't like Coldplay cool, but really... aren't there worse bands in the world? They're just four slightly nerdy British blokes who DO WRITE GOOD SONGS. Not poppy protest anthems like Green Day to try to "ruffle feathers" or some shit.

Well Coldplay is overrated, not sure if they are the worst though.

ah damn.....I'm too lazy to say all the bad bands now.....and I would get too much bling then....the forumn would break down then because this would be the longest post ever and everybody would try to read it..........and well......things like that are ridiculous and that's it!Amen!

Well....I just had to give the best examples why Coldplay are not the worst band....in my opinion the people who made these nominations just based their decisions on taste....which is really sad.........you can't comment on worst or best band.....at least it's always a question of taste........if you talk about best and worst you have to see it in an objective way..........and then you have to analyse the music...............
