March 20, 200620 yr Author so we were knocked out of the portuguese cup last wednesday by Vitoria Guimaraes... in the championship things are not going very well neither... last night we've beaten Rioave with an injury time goal scored by Mantorras... gosh were we lucky!!!!
March 20, 200620 yr Wow, great video! I adore Portuguese football commentators! :D They are so great! :D German commentators are always sooo boring... Hope Benfica will reach the next round in the Champions League. By the way: I read in a newspaper that in Portugal you can only see 13 matches of the World Cup 2006 live in Free-TV? All other games will be broadcast by a Pay-TV channel called "Sport TV". Is that right? :stunned: That is crazy!
March 20, 200620 yr Lucky for you we won't have Puyol,Messi,Marquez, Edmilson or Xavi for the first leg...

I don't have any problems with it since I have Sport TV, so it's all good. But I feel bad for those who don't have it. I'm hopeful that Benfica will do a good campaign on Champions League! :D
March 21, 200620 yr Author Lucky for you we won't have Puyol' date='Messi,Marquez, Edmilson or Xavi for the first leg...[/quote'] They'll still play with 11 men, right!!?? :p
March 28, 200620 yr Author 0-0 against Barça is not that bad... we were lucky is true, but Ricardo Rocha made us think for moments that Ronaldinho wasn't even there!!!! now there's a mission impossible waiting for us in Camp Nou... but let's believe!!!!
March 28, 200620 yr It's not impossible Miguel. We're in advantage now since they didn't score any goals here. So we only have to win there or 1-1 result. I'm feeling pretty confident right now! :smug:
March 29, 200620 yr Author just beautiful... take a look: http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=video&file=Barcelona_93_Benfica.wmv
April 2, 200620 yr Author so, Benfica have beaten Belenenses last night 2-1... Miccoli and Karagounis scored... anyway still on 3rd place... the bad news is the injury of Nuno Gomes that will miss the match at Camp Nou against Barça... the good news is that Miccoli seems in good form... ;)
