oh shit!!

i also would like to be somewhere outside of the U.S. i don't know if i'd want to live somewhere else because all my friends are here... but i'd like to at least visit somewhere else once in awhile.

 

same here, I grew up here, and all my friends are here... its a nice area in some aspects, but I hate the way our society is. When you live in a suburban culture, you come across a lot of closed-minded and superficial people. They call Atlanta the "Melting Pot" because we have just about every ethnic background living here. But nothing is melting in the pot, if you know what I mean. There's so much ignorance. I still have to find my niche, and I'm not going to find it here.

yeah i spent a lot of my life living in the suburbs, and i know exactly what you mean. living in philadelphia seems to be a lot different though, everyone's not as divided into factions it seems. it's still more of a salad than a melting pot, but there's not a lot of racial tension, at least not that i've ever encountered. (unless you try to talk trash about the mayor)
