Apex 1225 DVD Player "No Disk" Problem

Anyone else have this problem with there dvd player, Apex, model AD-1225 or similar? I used to be able to play cds and dvds just fine, but then after a year the dvds stopped working. I used to be able to unplug the cord and replug it to make it work, but now that cheat has failed, so I can only play cds.

 

Anyone have any advice, suggestions, or know any sites that could help?

 

I just bought the Coldplay Live 2003 DVD about 2 weeks ago (yes, very late, but nevertheless), and I haven't seen it yet :bigcry: the agony...

    ooooh, never mind this thread, I happen to figure out how to fix my problem. I just realigned the laser inside the player and it clicked into place!~ I literally screamed with joy when I saw the AROBTTH cd cover on my screen. *watching Live 2003 dvd*

    That's good, I was going to suggest hit it with a hammer:p
