Hal Leonard Books

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! I'm new to these forums:), and have a question about the Hal Leonard Coldplay books. (Sorry if there's already a thread about this) I've been wanting to get some Coldplay sheet music for awhile and I've read good and bad reviews about these books. From what I've seen of them online, they look like decent enough arrangements of the albums. Does anyone own these? What do you think of them? Any help would be appreciated, I'd hate to buy a book that's a ripoff.

Well they are all 100% correct for sure. If your sick inaccurate tabs then yea I would buy them. I have X n Y and A rush of Blood books and I use the tabs in them to play mostly all of the songs. a few you may find simpler versions online that sound exactly the same (warning sign).

the books suck! some of the stuff is slightly accurate but its not tabbed as it was originally played. I looked through them and didn't see much that was correct.

I have the X & Y one. No complaints as of yet.

Thanks for the input. I got a little ancy and found them cheap online, so I ordered all 3 album versions. I am a beginnger on the guitar, so the chords are mostly what I'm after. Now the piano I know well, so I'm looking forward to playing around with the arrangements. I love this site so much already, there's a lot of good tips in these threads. You guys rock! :)

The Hal Leonard books don't show the fingerings just so you know.
