That guy is possibly a couple of thousand years old, at least. With other bog men there was evidence that they were killed in some sort of ritual and dumped into a peat bog. Sometimes the bogs can preserve bodies like that for centuries.

 

edit: did a bit of digging around and found out some stuff about that guy. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4589638.stm and http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/01/0117_060117_irish_bogmen.html Turns out he was really short and used a ton of (expensive) hair gel to make himself look taller. :lol: He died around 200 BC. Looks like it was a pretty nasty way to go. :confused:
