The tie really, in my opinion, makes the junos look like a joke. Give an award to whoever got the most votes and stick with it. Black Eyed Peas are shitty, we all know that anyway. Would've been nice if Coldplay had added a show of their own in Halifax on the weekend. Any Canadians think they'll ever make it back to Halifax on their own. I'm not holding my breath. The public seemed more excited to see Hedley.

It was a fun show, but really, very highly suspect. Much as I thought they deserved to win stuff, you notice that Bedouin Soundclash and Broken Social Scene also squeaked in an award as well as played.

 

The biggest categories are determined by sales first and some committe second, or something like that. Not very artistically driven, I have to say.
