:P thanks, cya Will, btw I'm Sam :wink2:

WOW

I've also thought that many times before! when I hear about Einstein time-space theories I get to think that time isn't a part of universe, just a creation of human mind to give an order to our lifes, an order to the universe. Anyway it is a necessary concept for science to explain our reality so it basically exists for our understanding...

As if nobody would be able to perceive, see, smell or hear things... they wouldn't exist for us, I mean the universe is anything and everything but what we have in our brains. What we understand so if time is a part of our understand it, time is definitely a part of the universe.

I came back to the conclusion that time doesn't exist... duh! just thinking about time travels...

Gotta ask my physics teacher what he thinks of that.

Glad you understand it.

time is a concept just like the number one is a concept. they're not things that we can touch, but they are real in the conceptual world.

Exactly, thats what I'm trying to say.

I used to think the universe is fake and in a way I still do. because I believe in God I believe the only place we can exist is in God's imagination. We aren't really real... In other words, we aren't perfect... er... that's not the greatest explanation....

  • Author

I don't really understand :\

if you believe that God or a being made us then you'll believe the only reason we exist is not because we were meant to exist according to nature but according to God... I see that as being fake because we weren't really neccessarily MEANT to exist... we didn't create ourselves or something... but... fake is a bad word to use I think...

I think I get it now.......... I think

Fake is probably the best word you could use.

mm, when I realized that I was realizing that the earth was not EVERYTHING... it was like a revalation of something I already knew and that many people know because they believe in it... It was just like... "wow, my hands aren't everything..." in a way... or the realization that my body is just a part of God's imagination and there is more out there than it that is more important...

Yeah, I've always sorta thought that in a way.

time is a concept just like the number one is a concept. they're not things that we can touch' date=' but they are real in the conceptual world.[/quote']

That's right, I came to the conclussion that time DOES exist.

and I would describe it as an intrinsic property of the change. It's not at all like a human invention, there's a determined time needed for a process to be made (i.e. emition of radiation from an atom, the colition of two molecules...)

Id the universe would be/ever was static, also was the time, there was no change so time was like stopped.

i would label that an age, not time, but you do have a point
